  • Foundation Governance

    The Foundation’s Letters Patent were obtained in November 1999, and the foundation was officially created in 2001. It is governed by a Board of Directors and operates under the “Act Respecting Roman Catholic Bishops.” The Foundation’s headquarters is located in the same premises as SASMAD.

These actions are fundamental to ensuring the continuity and quality of the spiritual visits we offer to people weakened by illness and/or age. With your support, we can continue to provide these vital services to those who need them most.

  • Ongoing and basic training for our volunteers, provided by our team of experts in spiritual support and active listening.
  • Continuous support for our volunteers from experienced coordinators in spiritual care.
  • Assessment visits with beneficiaries to evaluate their needs and guarantee the quality of our service.
  • Pairing meetings between beneficiaries and volunteers, guided by one of our coordinators.
  • Ongoing evaluations to improve and adapt our services.
  • Promotion and outreach of SASMAD services to those who need them.
